Before anything else, congratulations JMA! Last year was by all means a successful one. Kudos! So let’s not waste the momentum, and start this year right. I believe there’s no better place to begin with other than our slogan for this sem: Redefining Marketing. Yep, this year we’re taking the understanding of our own craft levels deeper. We’re gonna strengthen our very foundation, breaking new ground in the process… and then some.
It’s no big secret that JMA is the premier marketing organization in UP Diliman. Some die-hard JMAers may even claim that it is the premier marketing organization in Metro Manila. But that’s beside the point. The point being, that JMA has achieved such greatness because of the members who have kept it up and running all these years. The JMAer prides him/herself in being well-trained, well-rounded, and well-groomed! Aside from being outstanding marketers, many JMAers are known to excel in other fields as well. From academics to sports or entertainment to visual arts, there is definitely no lack of skills among the members who make up JMA.

As I watch my friend slowly strum on the strings of his guitar, looking at the floor disconsolately as if he were deconstructing the meaning of life itself, I cannot help but wonder what's going through his head. He is set in deep thought, and even amidst the busy happenings around him, his eyes publish a certain sense of profundity that I feel somewhat envious of. His lips move as if to whisper a secret, and upon closer inspection, I realize that he's mouthing the lyrics of a song. His fingers do not flutter in pace with his words, but nonetheless this recluse seems to find solace in his own self-constructed melody.
