You know what they say, Salt Lake City is the best home arena, especially on throwback games. To some BUT not to all John Stockton is not only a player, but a scout as well! You see this player is best known for passing. Yet, for this certain play, our John Stockton brings out the crossover. Perhaps because Ogie’s wife, also known as the rapper, gets Stockton’s freak on… and the rapper is watching from the crowd. To some but not to all, J-Stock is known to be a one minute man. But for this game, for this play, the panel says that the player must simply work it.
The first ever Top Secret Sprint Session about Tambay Week was held during Planning Sem in the Mumu Room. We all held hands and sang the Top Secret Sprint Song because it was the first time we were all complete for our first official Sprint meeting. Aww. Just kidding. Little did we know that it would also be the last time we would ever have a serious meeting. Seriously though, all our Tambay Week plans just fell into place after many exciting adventures including Rhett being in the hospital, and Erik and Ana J. getting a bit lost. First, of course, was the Sprint video shoot. We discovered the acting talents of an SC parking lot kid, turned P5 into P100, made each other, and underwear, disappear then appear, and drank more iced tea than our stomachs could handle. That last bit turned messy after a while. Our set, which consisted of a table and four chairs, ended up with lots of cracked eggs, an empty bottle of softdrinks, more underwear, iced tea and… ehem. We probably had the most fun during our Genmeet. Admittedly, we did start very late, but believe us, that was definitely part of the plan. We proudly began with the Philippine national anthem as we flashed pictures of Filipino heroes, including ourselves.
Magicians, mermaids, showgirls extraordinary gentlemen, and fortune-tellers brought Balay Kalinaw to life last November 29, 2006 as JMA welcomed its new batch of applicants thru this semester’s Orientation Seminar, “Carnivale”. Apps were treated to a fun and festive afternoon with activities like human bingo, makeovers care of Seventeen, booth hopping, and the much anticipated committee presentations. New to the program was the booth hopping segment wherein each committee got a chance to introduce themselves to the applicants thru their own short spiels and lively gimmicks. JMAers gamely transformed their booths and themselves into various carnival characters, giving the apps much to rave and be excited about. To top it all off, none of the committee presentations failed to impress and entertain as JMAers dared to go beyond the usual kabibbohan to show the apps what our org is all about.

I had to rush home after CWTS because I left all my stuff for OrSem (i.e. my MANster mask!). After OrSem, I at least had a bit of time to unwind before our cheerdance practice.Grabe the practices! I have newfound respect for our Pep squad! All those pretzel-like moves are killing me! Thank God the practice tonight is at LGV, which is near my house.
